Candace – Got Shape?
Candace was the second person I saw wearing that shirttoday. At first I assumed a company hired a marketing firm and this was theirpromotion… turns out that Candace works at American Laser Centers. She informed me that VelaShape is the only FDA cleared device that will reduce both circumference and cellulite. American Laser Center is the largest provider of VelaShape, that’s where the “Got Shape?” shirt comes into play. One glance at my arms and she was quick to mention their services including laser hair removal. She was born in Maryland and raised in Abingdon, VA. and then moved to Mooresville her sophomore year of high school. Her first job was a Mannequin model which she then transitioned to a hair model. It seems that she is definitely a fan of the beauty industry. She attended Mitchell Community College where she studied skin care which provided her the opportunity at American Laser Center in the village. Candace met Zane, her husband of three years, here in North Carolina. They had attended the same high school in Virginia, but never met until Zane’s brother introduced them 5 1/2 years ago while in Charlotte. He proposed to her at Brixx and they enjoyed a tropical wedding and honeymoon in St. Lucia. Zane owns a landscaping company, Sticks and Stones Landscape Construction and Design. His company was chosen to do the landscaping for Extreme Makeover Home Edition in Charlotte that will be airing this Sunday at 8pm. They just completed their first dream home with help of Candace’s Dad who is a contractor. Candace is also entertaining the idea of building homes for a living. It wouldn’t surprise me to eventually see Candace & Zane on HGTV flipping homes. Her favorite thing about Birkdale… “The convenience of working, shopping, and dining all within one location”.
